From the A55 from Chester, go past Northop and up the hill to the Halkyn exit (also signposted to Rhosesmor), just after the Little Chef. Take this exit and turn left opposite the Brittania Inn, and take the left again beside Halkyn church. Follow the road past Berth Ddu and the school, and turn right just before St Paul’s Church. Right at the next junction, (it looks like straight over as there is a lane on your right) go over the hill and past the phone box. Turn right at the T junction, and Windy Ridge lane is 200 yards on the right; or...

From the A541 Mold-Denbigh road, turn up the hill signposted to Rhosesmor, and turn left at the Red Lion, continue for one mile and Windy Ridge lane is on your right.
